Description
Sesamum indicum
A mild slightly sweet flavour which goes particularly well with sauces, salads, cakes and pastries, toffee apples, bread and rolls. The seeds can be dry roasted for two minutes in a frying pan for a nuttier flavour, perfect in a green salad. Once roasted, crush in a blender with cooking salt to create a delicious table spice called gomasio.
