Zingiber officinalis
Dried ginger slices are used in the same way as fresh ginger: in Thai cooking, soups, seafood, stews, curries and macerations. They are also perfect as an infusion in combination with green or black tea, rooibos or other spices.
They are much tastier than the powder, you will find flavors much closer to fresh ginger.
You can remove the slices before serving your dishes.
