Description

Rhus coriaria
A beautiful deep red powder with a mildly acidic taste, used to make sweet-n-sour sauces and for seasoning mutton. It adds an acid note to salads and Lebanese pizzas. It must be kept dry.
Important! Never pick sumac seeds from the garden or in the wild. The sumac for human consumption is produced by a specific species which does not grow in our climate.
