Nepheluim lappaceum
Grown in Asia and Central America, this small tropical fruit is of the same family as lychee. It looks like its cousin with the same bright red color but is covered with long hairs. It is often nicknamed the «hairy lychee». Tangy and naturally sweet, its taste reminds both grapes and lychee.
To taste without moderation, to integrate in a fruit salad, in a carrot salad, in a muesli or granola, to cook in a tajine.
This fruit is also ideal for making macerations in your rum cocktails.
