Piper nigrum
Peppercorns of an exceptional quality grown in the Penja valley in Cameroon. Picked when fully ripe, the corns are soaked in water to remove the outer covering before being dried in the sun. A delicate, velvety, warm flavour. Their aroma is strong, woody and almost smoky; perfect for meat and fish but also plain pasta and purées.
